Monday, January 22, 2007 weekend adventure so i've been surviving school.. it still feels so highschool.. but i'm getting used to it.. slowly... classes are still kinda boring... i start placement next week.. its really close to my house.. should be good.. hopefully.. it'll be a good experience and i'll meet new kids! yeah... i went to waterloo for the weekend... i actually didn't decide until the nite before at like 1 or 2 in the morning... i mean at first i was really excited... like i really wanted to go.. but then as the nite went on.. i wasn't so sure i wanted to go... but i'm glad i did. it was just good to get away from the house for a bit.. have some freedom again.. and of course see people =) although most people were away at the ccf winter retreat haha... oops.. i totally forgot about that.. like.. people had been talking to me about it all week long.. and it just didn't click =) but there were still some people there so it was fun =) i saw amander and we talked for a bit hehe.. and watched csi at mikeys haha... and we hung out at steve's a lot... i watched 3 movies over the weekend =) harry potter 4, ice age 2 and batman begins hehe.. all pretty good movies =) well i was forced to watch batman begins.. but it was still good i guess =) saturday i actually did some work at steve's... nobody was awake until 11! but i was good and did some work =) i also took a little nap on the couch.. in the sun.. and i felt like a cat.. but it was so nice and toasty =) and i read a few calvin and hobbes books.. and played some nintendo hehe... then afterwards when paul was done snowboarding we (steve, tim, moo, paul and me) went to benny's for wings! mmmmm wings.. i haven't had wings in soooo long.. and it was soooo good =) i only ate 8 haha... you had to irder a minimum of 10.. but i couldn't eat that much... i was so full! but paul finished the last 2 hehe.. he's like... my garbage can hehe.. eats all the leftovers =) then afterwards i was forced to watch batman begins hehe but it wasn't bad! it was just really really long tho! then on sunday i caught the 5:00 bus in the evening.. and got home around 7 something... i miss waterloo.. but in a few weeks i will go visit again! this time there will be more people around! =) oh! so i guess it was cuz i packed my bag so late at nite cuz i decided so last minute i was going... but i forgot so many things! i forgot my glasses.. and my contact case and contact solution! so i had to be ghetto and make contact cases hahaha.. i used water bottle caps that were rinsed under really hot water.. and then stuck plastic wrap on top of it all hehehehe... luckily paul had contact solution.. if he didn't i dunno what i woulda used for contact solution =) oh and my shampoo spilled in my bag so my stuff had shampoo all over it and i had to wash everything and it was so yucky and so annoying... next time i gotta make sure i have everything totally ready so i won't forget anything or have anything like that happen again! and i definitely need to bring less stuff.. my backpack is alwayz soooo stuffed its so heavy =) next time i gotta bring skates! mmm... skating.... 0_o ( 12:18 AM ) ~ punchyfruit ~ |
