Thursday, November 24, 2005 some people don't seem to udnerstand the point of quiet study rooms... i haven't been very productive since i handed in my essay on monday.. its like thursday and i've done... pretty much nothing... crap. i went to the slc to study today with paul and i ended up half studying.. most of my time was spent doing a crossword and a soduku puzzle.. both of which i haven't finished yet... *sigh* guess i'm just too stoobud for soduku puzzles.. i've only ever solved 2... anywayz yeah.. so the title of my post... so i was in the slc... and i dunno.. i guess people don't realize its a quiet study room? and they don't notice that people are whispering? and that people are wearing headphones? i dunno... there was this one guy... it was sorta funny to watch him.... he was listening to his music and bopping along with it and stuff.. and it was reeeally loud... like at first i thought he wasn't even wearing headphones... but he was.... like his music was really really loud... and everyone's just staring... nobody says anything.... which is kinda funny... why doesn't anyone say anything? well i mean i'm one of those people.. but still =) so i guess the guy's friend noticed that everyone was glaring at him.. and it was funny cuz the guy was totally oblivious... sitting there like dancing in his chair.... and his friend kinda poked him and told him to turn it down i guess... and i guess he turned it down but you could barely notice a difference cuz you could still hear it... and then there were these other guys who come in... saw someone they knew and started to have a conversation but not whispering either =) and people stared but didn't do anything =) i think they need bigger signs on the doors... QUIET study rooms =) well i wasn't being all that productive anywayz so i guess i have no excuse to complain.. but still.. don't people notice these things? it was kinda like.... when there was a squeaky door... and there would be like a big sign on the door saying don't use the door! it squeaks! and people just wouldn't see it at all! i really don't understand that... really =) i guess its like... selective vision =) thats my rant =) not much of a rant... i guess more of a... complaint? i dunno.. whatever it is i'm done! i'm hungry... geez.. i finished a whole freaking HUGE plate of yummy shanghai noodles today.. and i'm hungry now! i'm getting so fat. time to sleep.. tomorrow needs to be productive. 0_o ( 2:36 AM ) ~ punchyfruit ~ |
