Friday, September 16, 2005 first week of school so... my first week of school is over! whoever said 4th year is the easiest year... is full of crap. i have so much stuff to do! i definitely hafta do a lot of work to keep up... tis the season for breakdowns! oh boy! my classes seem pretty interesting... i like them all so far... i have 2 labs and i'm kinda scared cuz they seem like a lot of work and i think i hafta spend a lot of extra time in the lab after class... *eep!* i really need to do well this term! my classes are all pretty small.. but i've gotten used to that by now.. at least there aren't any presentations like one of my classes last year... just lotsa research papers and stuff... i think i can handle it! maybe i should get a head start on some of the stuff now! i'm on top of my reading.. for now... and i'll have all this weekend to catch up! i started work again on thursday.. only mikey's now.. no more seoul soul cuz they didn't hire me back... oh well... it was really stressful with 2 jobs anywayz... i'm hoping to get a few more hours at mikey's so i won't hafta worry about bills and stuff so much... but so far i think i'm working about 3 times a week? i've gotta check =) i worked with amanda yesterday and i was pretty surprised that i wasn't really all that rusty =) just a few things i would forget to do... but they were minor =) i haven't really seen my housemates all that much they're alwayz out =) i think i see leanne the most... she's alwayz home when i get back from class and then we sit there watching passions.. hahaha i haven't watched that soap since first year when i watched with her and juli.. and i'm so confused hahaha... but its funny... we sit there watching and getting sorta worked up about it cuz it makes no sense hehehe... and i've seen juli a few times too.. but i think she's usually with her boyfriend so i don't see her all that often... mark is over a lot too and he's alwayz with leanne so i see a lot of him too =) my other housemate kevin can do magic tricks! they're so kool =) hahaha... i find them very amusing =) it was funny watching him show leanne cuz she was sorta drunk last nite (it was her birthday and her parents took her out) and she was like freaking out when he showed her the magic tricks =) hehehe... but its fun living with them =) i don't hafta worry about anal people or anything! they're so laid back and stuff.. its nice =) i think i've seen paul... pretty much everyday this week (sick of me yet?) we have a class together =) later roman history! i thought it was a guy prof.. cuz the prof that taught me roman history last term said that the head of classical studies would be teaching it... but its not... its this lady who has the same last name as the head.. maybe she's his wife... but yeah i think.. i think i'll like it cuz paul's there to keep me awake.. except he fell asleep on wed.. the first class and he falls asleep already! hehehe.. but she kinda talks really slowly.. and sometimes she kinda stops talking for a few seconds and it seems like a long time =) but i think i'll like it =) i haven't been to paul's place all taht much.. maybe 2 or 3 times... cuz now i live closer! hehehe... its not all that far i suppose... but i'm kinda scared to go over =) there are bugs! he found bugs in the freezer! yucky yucky!!! and everyday its like a new but gross discovery =) today we found garbage juice in the garbage can.. it smelled wonderful... *gag* but my place was like that when i first moved in too =) maybe not the garbage juice and bugs... but yeah! =) i found a bug last nite... an earwig.. ewwwwwww i hate earwigs! they're so gross! but yeah i didn't do anything.. it was in a box.. so when paul came over today for lunchy and stuff i got him to kill it for me cuz it was still there =) yay paul! super bug killer! =) too bad he went home this weekend... now theres nobody to kill my bugs for me! ohhh! paul got contacts! i forgot =) now he can play hockey without his glasses fogging up! bahahaha... i actually didn't notice the first time i saw him.. he kinda looked the same and it took me a few minutes to realize that he wasn't wearing glasses =) cuz you know how some people look the same whether they're wearing glasses or not? and some people look really different? paul kinda looks the same =) but i know i look really different with glasses and with contacts =) okie i think i'm rambling now... not really sure what to do now.. nobody's home.. just me and the boogers... hes rolling around in my room now... juli and kevin have met him =) boogers is so cute! he kinda wakes me up in the middle of the nite a lot.. and he makes such a mess =) the other day he piled all his shavings in one corner where there wasn't any cardboard blocking it.. so it all fell out in the my floor... and then last nite he was running on his wheel and his food bowl was clanking against it and it woke me up... silly silly boogers... but i can't stay mad at him cuz he's so cute =) i miss my kitties tho.... i will go home to visit them at the end of the month... 0_o ( 11:48 PM ) ~ punchyfruit ~ |
