Sunday, June 19, 2005 sunday monnnday.... stoobud pat and her stoobud song.. its stuck in my head... its a song that all the little kids at work sing a lot apparently... and she keeps singing it and singing it until i find myself humming it without knowing *agh!* must... get... out of... head! i got my hair cut today! i guess i'll put up a picture later.. if i feel like it.. but i might take a pic just for me to remember and stuff... anywayz! i got side bangs.. my hair isn't exactly how i imagined it would be.. but its workable and i like it!i wanna dye my hair... since i never did that time i said i would... so i might dye it tomorrow? or sometime next week i guess =) no rush! after that i went to lunch with my mom and pat... then pat went to work... and i went to lee valley with my mom... lee valley is like this place that sells lotsa hardware stuff and gardening stuff... things like that... occasionally they have some sorta kool things... like these little round metal containers with glass tops that pat got for me so i could put my beads in... and then today i got watercolour pencil crayons there! ooooo.... they were sorta expensive... but they seemed really kool so i got them... they're like pencil crayons... but if you wet a paintbrush and go over it... they kinda blend together like water colours! soooooo kool! so i tested them out... i drew a picture of a neopet... hahaha and that got me really frustrated... if you know me when i draw... i can get really really frustrated with my sketch... it depends if its an artsy day or not... if it is i won't really have that many problems... if it isn't an artsy day i will have sooo many issues with my drawing and i get really mad and frustrated and yeah... so today wasn't really an artsy day... i was almost done my basic sketch when i got really mad at it and erased the whole thing... but second time around didn't turn out so bad.. so i coloured it in.. and then tested my watercolour pencil crayons =) lemme just say i need practice blending colours =) its sorta got these hard lines where one colour dried before i got my brush wet again and blended it all together... but overall not bad.. the only thing is that it makes my paper all wrinkly... but! thats okie cuz tubby is sitting on my sketchbook to flatten it out for me =) so after we finished at lee valley i was excited to go home and try out my pencil crayons... but we stopped off at walmart so i could get a couple sketchbooks... since i left mine in waterloo... i got 2... so now i have a large medium and small sketchbook =) after that... we came home for a bit.. then went to visit my grandma.. we were there... ummm i dunno it seemed like a while... we gave her one of our family photos that we took last month and my mom kinda talked to her about stuff... then we came home! and i spent the rest of the nite drawing/painting! i barely spent any time in front of the computer (other than when i was drawing) i'm so proud =) i'm kinda in a drawing mood now so i think i'll draw for the rest of the nite! wheee! yay productive me! =) my mom says i should practice my drawing since i don't take lessons anymore... so off i go! 0_o ( 12:26 AM ) ~ punchyfruit ~ |
