Saturday, June 04, 2005 intelligent design ooo i just discovered how to put titles on my blog! =) but i dunno how often i'll stick titles in... too hard to think of good titles =) hrmm apparently i haven't discovered how to put in titles... interesting... i will ask paul tomorrow! i didn't really do much this week.. other than go shopping on tuesday and sushi with esta stella and tracy and pat... oh i blew all my money =) so broke... *sigh* i went to genesis today... it was at scarborough bluffs... i didn't really know if i wanted to go or not... i mean i did and i sorta didn't... just seems sorta weird going cuz i don't really know all that many people.. plus it was far.. and looked like it was gonna rain.. but i actually had fun.... i think i should go to genesis more often =) so yeah it took us half an hour to get there... and we didn't know where everyone was... but we found them and we hung around.. went and sat on the rocks.. ate... talked a lot with esta and tracy and stella and wendy too... we took lotsa pictures on the rocks hehe... it was funny cuz then everyone came and started taking pictures of us... like movie stars! tehee! =) hehe it was really funny... daniel [he's a pastor for the english service and sorta in charge of genesis i guess... sorta like counsellors in kyrios...] was talking to pat and me and he didn't believe pat when she said we were sisters.. he kinda just looked at us for a long time until pat was like 'really.. she's my sister' and only then he realized we weren't joking =) hehehe... he was expecting us to say we were sisters... in christ or something =) and i found someone i could talk to about anthropology! finally someone who understands! =) yeah! daniel was asking me what i did in school and when i told him he was like yeah i took some anthropology and i thought it was really interesting [and thats where the conversation usually ends.. cuz who really knows much about anthropology other than me?] but then he actually had stuff to say about it! well cuz he's a pastor and he was asking me about evolution and stuff.. and it was kool! i finally found someone who knows something about anthropology! i think that was like the highlight of my night =) we ended up sitting there and talking for a lil bit... maybe like 15 minutes or so.. not that long cuz it was like dark and you couldn't see anything hehe but yeah he told me to look up stuff about 'intelligent design' for other views on evolution and stuff... i forgot afterwards what i was supposed to look up.. but then while watching 'what not to wear' [LOVE that show! hehehe someone give me $5000 to spend on a new wardrobe! =) hehehe] i suddenly remembered.. and i wrote it on my hand so i wouldn't forget.. and now it's on my blog so if it washes off my hand i won't forget =) i still don't really know all that many people at genesis but i think i'll go more often.. at least it'll give me something to do friday nites =) plus i'll get to see esta! yay! since she doesn't go to my church =) esta lives far! pat drove her home and it took us forever.... plus some road got closed so then we had to go a different way so we weren't really sure where we were going... oh and avoiding people and people with cameras at the bbq was fun too.. heheh esta is crazy... so very random too! hehehe okie i must sleep now it is late.. or watch 7th heaven... darn it for being on so late =) hrmmmm tv or sleep... can't decide! =) 0_o ( 2:12 AM ) ~ punchyfruit ~ |
