Saturday, September 11, 2004 another hammie story! =) i can't help it... boogers is so cute and has so many cute or funny stories! hehehe so yesterday he was running on the wheel... and then i was watching him and noticed that he looked kinda weird... so i took a closer look and his cheeks were BULGING! he'd run on the wheel.. stop... stick his head in his food bowl (which he had tipped over.. easier to reach i guess hehehe) and then he's stuff his cheeks some more! and he did this for the longest time.. his cheeks getting more and more stuffed... and he just kept running! so i took some pictures of him.. and took him out and pet his cheeks.. hehehe.. they felt weird and lumpy =) all those seeds crammed into his mouth... and then after i put him back.. he went to sleep! i was just watching him.. he looked so uncomfortable sleeping with his cheeks full of seeds... so i poked him.. and he didn't do anything until i poked him again and then he got up and hid in his coconut house and emptied out all those seeds =) i looked under the coconut house today and there was a huge pile of seeds there... cuz there's a hole inside it and all the seeds musta fallen out... so i moved the house so he could eat the seeds.. but i came back from playing some softball today and all the seeds were gone.. stuffed under the house again probably =) boogers is such a cutie =) when i gave him more food today he stuffed half his face with sunflower seeds and other stuff.. it looked so funny but i don't have any pictures of that =) i need to save up for a bigger cage for him.. this one is so small now... and he's so big he barely fits on the exercise wheel! so here's a picture of him with his cheeks stuffed =)
