Tuesday, September 17, 2002 yeah i'm really liking ccf so far... like i like it lots... but i still feel kinda outta place sometimes... i guess it'll be better when i get to know more people ... first week of class is over... into my second week now.. man it's tiring... today i could barely stay awake! so tired... cuz i was up pretty late on the weekend.... i stayed this weekend... went to ccf on firday... it was kinda blah cuz they were kinda doing introduction kinda things.... but i still like ccf... i'm still a little antisocial... i stick to nadine lots... but then she like shoves me in the room and runs away so then i gotta talk to people... but hopefully i will get to know people better.... eleanor was there too! hehehe.. haven't seen her in a while... yeah so the guy that likes my hair? i so have the hots for him! hehehe... it was kinda expected... nadine doesn't approve =) hehehe.. oh well.. she didn't approve of other people too but i still liked them =) but i mean everyone there is really nice and everything... i went to church here on sunday too... went to the one most of the ccf people go to... it's kinda small compared to t3c obviously... most of the congregation is made up of ccf people hehhee... and the worship team is all ccf people... i think thats kool... nathan is on the worship team! he is SUCH a good singer... he looked really really good on sunday heehe... he had a leather jacket too! hahaha okie i really hafta stop... hehehe... and after service everyone goes downstairs for snacks and stuff... and then like EVERYONE goes to sunday school! thats so... different! and the pastor is the one who teaches the sunday school.. theres only one sunday school that i know... i think theres gonna be 2 but the other one doesn't start til october or something... but the style of sunday school is different.. they're doing theology or something like that... and it's like kinda lecture style.. they have tests in sunday school! whoa.. kinda scary... but i think i could learn to like sunday school.. dunno but i was really tired that day so i had a hard time paying attention.. but theres like lotsa discussion and stuff like that.. i was sooo tired... i was up til like 4 that morning! cuz mike came up again this weekend and we went to macdonald's drive thru at like 2ish... and i got back and my roommate was still up watching tv so we were watching stuff together and then that was like til 3:30 ish and then i was on the computer and i didn't sleep til 4! soo tired the next day.. i woke up late.. had to get ready in 10 minutes! so bad... then after sunday school we went to have dim sum with eleanor... mike.. nadine... carlson and me... it was yummy yummy... hehehe... i'm getting along pretty good with all my roommates... yeah we talk and joke around.. not like really good friends or whatever but it's still good! i don't really talk to one of them that much.. i dunno.. it's weird cuz she's so... i dunno.. but the other 2 are pretty kool... oh yeah! i had a stalker on sunday! hehehe.. well not realy but it was kinda weird.. this guy.. he goes to the waterloo ccf but he goes to laurier (nothing outta the ordinary there) but he was like following me around on sunday! i was with mike eleanor and nadine and then mike and eleanor went to get food.. and i see him kinda hovering around... then me and nadine went to get food but then nadine went to talk to someone so i was by myself and he came up to me and he was like oh yeah i'll come get food with you... and then we talked a little and then i went to hang around with mike.. and he was hovering again! and then mike noticed that he was hanging around and he was like oh i'll leave... even though i told him not to.. and then he left and the guy came up to me again! everytime mike was there he wouldn't come around but as soon as mike left then he wuld come up to me! it was kinda weird cuz i didn't have anything to say to him.. and he didn't have anything to say to me... he would just stand there! so it was kinda weird... yeah... but anywayz! today nadine took me to embassy.. at fed hall (the campus club) it's like a church service.. it's pretty.. white.. hehehe... but it was good! the songs they sing are more like... "god is great" type of songs.. like more rocky? hehehe... but they're kool.. i only knew one song.. and the speaker was pretty good too... he's funny.... i think they meet every monday... so it's like sunday service on mondays! i liked it... it was pretty kool... but today they had it outside.. so it was freezing cold! it's really cold here.. and i'm so stupid.. in the mornings i don't look outside my window to see what it's like outside... so everytime i go out it's like yucky gray skies and freezing cold.. and i'm wearing a tshirt... i did this for the last couple of days! still haven't learned yet.... so i'm walking to class freezing my butt off... smart! so yeah anywayz... i'm feeling kinda homesick today.... i really miss kitty and tubby.... i put up more pictures in my room.... and i was looking at them and now i feel kinda homesick.. like i really miss my kitties... but like i don't really wanna go home cuz whenever i do and come back it makes me feel even more homesick... but i wanna see them.... *sigh* well hopefully it won't be so bad tomorrow... 0_o ( 1:35 AM ) ~ punchyfruit ~ |
